Zero Tolerance Policy

Nocti strictly prohibits any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE), child grooming, or endangerment. We operate a zero-tolerance policy against any user or content attempting to exploit, harm, or endanger minors.

1. Strict Age Restriction

Nocti is designed exclusively for real-world adult event discovery and social gatherings. Users must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction) to register an account, host events, or attend gatherings on Nocti.

2. In-App Reporting & Content Moderation

Nocti empowers all community members with accessible in-app reporting tools:

In-App Profile & Event Reporting: Users can tap the report button on any user profile, event listing, or chat message to instantly flag safety concerns.
24/7 Moderation & Review: Flagged content and safety reports are prioritized for immediate review by our safety moderation team.
Proactive Automated Safeguards: We utilize automated detection mechanisms and content filtering to prevent the upload or transmission of illegal content, CSAM, or CSAE.

3. Enforcement & Account Action

Upon receiving or detecting any indication of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE):

The offending account is permanently banned immediately.
All associated content, events, and profile data are hidden and preserved for law enforcement reporting.
Device identifiers and IP addresses associated with the violation are permanently blocked from accessing Nocti.

4. Reporting to Authorities (NCMEC)

In full compliance with federal and international child protection laws, Nocti reports all instances of CSAM/CSAE and suspected child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and relevant local, national, and international law enforcement authorities.
